The University of New Mexico's Career Services hosts several workshops and job fairs the week of Sept. 9-12 involving several area of interests for students including Business and Accounting Career Fair, and the Engineering and Science Career Fair.

UNM’s Career Services was designed to help UNM students, faculty, staff and alumni find the perfect career fit for them through advisement, career fairs and more. In addition to the career fairs themselves, Career Services will host training sessions designed to help students prepare for the career fair ahead of them.

These sessions include helping people build their resumes and how to build relationships at job fairs.

Resume and Bagels Workshop
Resume and Bagels Workshop takes place on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 9-10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or during walk in hours. The workshops will take place in the Career Services Office (room 220) in the University Advisement and Enrichment Building.

Building Relationships at Career Fair Workshop
The Building Relationships at Career Fair Workshop is Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 9-10 starting at 12 p.m., both days. The workshops will take place in the Career Services Office (room 220) in the University Advisement and Enrichment Building.

Engineering and Science Career Fair
The Engineering and Science Career Fair is set for Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the SUB Ballrooms.

The Engineering and Science Career Fair provides UNM students the opportunity to meet with regional and national recruiters from various organizations. Employers will have jobs and internship positions available.

Business and Accounting Career Fair
The Business and Accounting Career Fair takes place on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the SUB Ballrooms. The Fair will feature regional and national recruiters from various organizations. Employers will have jobs and internship positions available.

Both career fairs are open to UNM students, alumni and community members. Career Service’s asks that job seekers come prepared, professionally dressed and with plenty of copies of their resumes.
