The University of New Mexico’s Office of the Chief Information Officer is hosting and curating content for Tech Days 2021—an event that offers faculty, staff and students an exclusive opportunity to learn about new technologies on campus June 7-9.

UNM’s Tech Days provides immense value to the campus community including cost-effective training; sharing knowledge and experience with technologies UNM uses and what UNM is considering; opportunity for informal networking and builds trust across the community; vendor information about current and future technologies; aligns entire technology ecosystem to a common vision; and provides community stewardship with various partners associated with the University.

Live sessions begin Monday at June 7 at 10:30 a.m. Featured topics include Concerns Regarding Accessible Documents? Make Them Conformant with Adobe Acrobat and also Modern Classrooms & Conference Rooms in a Post-COVID World.

On Tuesday, June 8, featured sessions include The Future of Configuration & Asset Management @ UNM and The Importance of Communicating Visually.

Tech days wraps up Wednesday, June 9 with Campus Cybersecurity Trends and Challenges in Higher Education and A Year in Review: an Open Mic Session with the CIO. Additional sessions and information about each can be found at Tech Days Schedule. Pre-recorded sessions are currently available including sessions of current and future technological innovations at the University.

Registration is open. Interested attendees are encouraged to pre-register early to receive event codes for live sessions. Those interested in submitting a presentation can review the Presenter Resources page for templates and tutorials for pre-recorded sessions.
