The University of New Mexico has announced the names of two finalists for the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs who will visit the University and meet with campus constituent groups next week.

The first finalist, who is coming to campus on Monday and Tuesday, is James Paul Holloway, Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Interdisciplinary Academic Affairs at the University of Michigan. The second finalist, who is coming to campus on Thursday and Friday next week, is Michael J. Benedik, Vice Provost and Chief International Officer at Texas A&M University. UNM seeks broad participation from the campus community and encourages faculty, staff and students to make every effort to attend one of the forums for each candidate. For those unable to attend in person, both the Faculty and Staff forums for each candidate will be available via livestream (and recordings for 72 hours after each visit).
