The Small Business Vendor Trade Fair, hosted by UNM Purchasing Department, has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Building Ballrooms.
If you own a business and are interested in participating, complete the registration form available from the UNM Purchasing Department web site at, Small Business Vendor Fair. Interested participants are encouraged to register early. The registration deadline is Tuesday, April 19.
The fair, which allows participants networking opportunities to create new business relationships and strengthen existing business relationships within the UNM and UNMH community, also helps to provide small and disadvantaged businesses a greater opportunity to compete fairly and equally in the market place while increasing procurement activity.
UNM purchasing agents, Pcard holders, staff and faculty are encouraged to attend the fair to learn about the products and services area businesses can provide. Other institutions including Bernalillo County Purchasing, Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and American Indian Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance helping businesses learn about procurement opportunities with their institutions.
For businesses interested in participating, the fee is $85, which includes a booth consisting of a 6' skirted table, 8' background curtain, two chairs, one line identification sign (35 letters) and one parking pass.
