The University of New Mexico Entrepreneurs (UNME), a student group dedicated to entrepreneurship, opens its Fireside Speaker Series featuring Meow Wolf Financial Analyst Chris Scharrar on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Lobo Rainforest Building located at 101 Broadway Blvd., NE.

Scharrar will discuss the Meow Wolf story on the eve of the first UNM Business Plan Competition Bootcamp. Meow Wolf is the incredible “Immersive Art Installation” in Santa Fe, N.M.

Attendees can meet Scharrar at this Fireside event hosted by UNM Entrepreneurs in collaboration with the UNM Business Plan Competition and UNM Innovation Academy. The event will be held in the Lobo Rainforest classroom.

Now in its second year, the cross-disciplinary UNME  group caters to the “entrepreneurially-minded” across UNM and the City of Albuquerque. This includes those interested in starting an organization of their own (“entrepreneurs”), developing new initiatives within an existing organization (“intrapreneurs”), or doing freelance work (“solopreneurs”).

The group is composed of students from the business and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) departments and is seeking to strengthen its relationships with these departments.
