The Associated Students of the University of New Mexico (ASUNM), UNM’s undergraduate student government, hosts the inaugural State of ASUNM Address on Friday, March 25 in the SUB Theater from 9 to 10 a.m.
ASUNM President Jenna Hagengruber will deliver remarks regarding issues such as the Legislative Lottery Scholarship, technology fee increases, capital outlay improvements, and other changes taking place at both ASUNM and the university at large.
Immediately following the President’s address, there will be a town hall featuring members of both the ASUNM Executive and Legislative Cabinets to answer questions and foster discussion about any concerns, topics, or advocacy that students are interested in.
“I’m hoping this event really allows students to understand the full extent of what we do at ASUNM and how every decision we make is directly affecting students,” Hagengruber said. “Our principal goal here is to serve students.”
ASUNM invites all students to join their student representatives at the State of ASUNM address to learn about steps that ASUNM took to represent the undergraduate student body and what goals it has for the future.
