ATTENTION all student organizations; all returning and new student organizations are required to attend a charter workshop at the beginning of the fall 2022 semster.
A student organization receiving its charter leads to official recognition of the student organization by The University of New Mexico. As such, chartered student organizations are granted privileges including access to campus facilities, access to ASUNM and GPSA funding processes, and the ability to rent and checkout equipment from the Student Activities Center (SAC).
UNM offers more than 300 chartered student organizations for every Lobo to choose from when it comes to getting involved. These student organizations are an opportunity for growth and leadership in a student-driven environment with the support of the University.
