The University of New Mexico Student Union Building raffles off a Southwest Airlines gift card and an iPad at the semi-annual Late Night Breakfast event Sunday, May 5, from 8 – 11 p.m. in the SUB. Late Night Breakfast is a fun, interactive event for UNM students to celebrate the end of the semester.
Walter Miller, associate vice president of Student Life, looks forward to hosting the event. "Late Night Breakfast has evolved over the years and is now something that students look forward to attending all semester," he said. "I am honored to be a part of rewarding our students."
Miller added that this year's Late Night Breakfast may be the biggest yet as the SUB anticipates having over 1,000 students in attendance.
Local bands, The Lymbs perform at 8 p.m. followed by the Red Light Cameras at 9:30 p.m. in the SUB Ballrooms. Break-dancers perform in the SUB atrium from 8 – 10 p.m. Other attractions include a free food buffet, a pancake eating contest, raffles, giveaways, a photo booth, massages and video games.
UNM junior, Morgan Minard said, "Late Night Breakfast is awesome. There's so much to do, and I won a massage gift card last semester!"
All students must have their Lobo ID to be eligible for free giveaways, t-shirts and raffles. In addition to the main raffle prizes, there will be a drawing for gift certificates from local vendors. Raffle winners will be announced at 10:45 p.m. in the SUB atrium. All winners must be present to win.
