After a months-long search, three finalists have been selected to interview for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position of UNM-Taos.
University of New Mexico Acting President Chaouki Abdallah invited Patrick Valdez from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York, Teresita Aguilar most recently at New Mexico Highlands University and Mark VanDenHende from Bermuda College in Paget Parish, Bermuda to meet with faculty, staff, students and community members.
Open forums for each candidate have been scheduled as follows:
Patrick Valdez
- Thursday, Feb. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the UNM-Taos Klauer Campus, Student Success Building: Room A
- Thursday, Feb. 16 from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the Taos Municipal School Enos Garcia Administration Building
Teresita Aguilar
- Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the UNM-Taos Klauer Campus, Student Success Building: Room D
