Several community partners, including representatives from Albuquerque Public Schools, the New Mexico Department of Health Office of Student and Adolescent Health and the UNM Department of Psychiatry, will host a free public forum on WEdnesday, April 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Health Sciences Center Domenici Auditorium, rm. 1220. The discussion will center on how to recognize signs of more serious emotional problems following a traumatic event, how schools can and do respond, and how to support children and adolescents when bad things happen.

There will be plenty of time for audience questions after each short panel presentation. The City of Albuquerque Cultural Services Department will videotape the panels for later public discussion and education. Dr. Barry Ramo will moderate this informative evening.
