A federal representative from the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) will be at the University of New Mexico Office of Career Services, Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 7-8 to interview qualified students and alumni for recruitment into their program.
The WRP is coordinated through the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy and the U.S. Department of Defense and connects college students and recent graduates with disabilities to employers across the nation for summer internships and full-time jobs at federal and private worksites throughout the U.S.
To qualify, applicants must have a disability, be a U.S. Citizen, and be currently enrolled full-time or graduated in Oct. 2010 or sooner. Applicants complete the online application and participate in an interview with a trained recruiter.
The WRP visit is sponsored by the office of Career Services and the Accessibility Resource Center.
