- Earned Ph.D. in Reading/Writing/Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012.
- Prior to coming to UNM, she taught for seven years at a progressive, urban charter school in Washington, DC.
- Her research interests include Neoliberal models of school reform, critical literacy, teacher narratives and practitioner inquiry.
