The University of New Mexico's Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) will make the following temporary adjustments to services to align with current public health orders. The changes will go into effect Monday, Nov. 23 and will remain in place until further notice.

Busniess Operations
Starting Monday, Nov. 23, PATS office will close to any in-person services. Services that include managing a parking account, appealing a citation and returning a permit are available online. Additionally, individuals can call and leave a voice mail message at 505-277-1938 or
send an email to parktran@unm.edu.  Staff will be monitoring both modes of communication Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Parking Enforcement
Starting Monday, Nov. 23, enforcement hours will be reduced to 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • North Campus – Enforcement activities will continue as usual, e.g. enforcement of permit and pay station parking spaces as well as any parking spaces restricted by signage (Reserved, ADA, Patient, Fire Lanes, No Parking, barricaded, etc.).
  • Main and South Campuses (Science and Technology Park, Lobo Village and Lobo Rainforest) - Enforcement activities will be focused primarily on parking spaces and areas restricted by signage.

Shuttle Service
Starting Monday, Nov. 23, shuttle services will reduce the number of buses operating at any given time on the Main, North and South campuses.

Continue to check PATS website for up-to-date shuttle service hours.
