Aerial Liese will be at the UNM Bookstore on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. to sign copies of Three Promises for Jane: A True Story of Madness and Redemption (Tate Publishing, 2015). This event is open to the public.
Forgiveness is a central theme in Three Promises for Jane, Aerial Liese’s memoir about her dysfunctional upbringing and her experiences with abuse, neglect, anxiety, and depression, in addition to her struggles with mental illness and eating disorders. Liese discusses the importance of forgiveness, managing mental illness, and eliminating dependence on pharmaceuticals in order to live a healthier lifestyle. Three Promises for Jane is an authentic and raw memoir that shares personal experiences of Liese’s battle to rid guilt and shame through personal forgiveness and acceptance.
Aerial Liese is an English instructor at San Juan College in Farmington. She has a regular parenting column in the Farmington Times Daily Newspaper and is the author of Successful Learning Spaces: A Transforming Guide for Parents and Educators.
