Bestselling author, journalist and entrepreneur, Steven Kotler will be the featured speaker at the next Anderson School of Management Boerigter Business Breakfast Program on March 30.

The title of Kotler’s presentation is “Climbing Mount Bold” and it is based on his New York Times bestselling book Bold: How to Go Big, Create Wealth, and Impact the World. In his book, Kotler discusses the exponential advancement of technology that enables upstart entrepreneurs to go from "I've got an idea" to "I run a billion-dollar company" faster than ever before.

Kotler will explain how a shift in mindset can increase performance and ignite passion and he'll explore the mental tactics utilized by high performing organizations like Google and the Navy Seals. Bold was named one of the top 25 books read by corporate America in 2015 and President Bill Clinton called it "a visionary roadmap for people who believe they can change the world".

In addition to Bold, Kotler’s non-fiction works include: The Rise of Superman, Abundance, A Small Furry Prayer, West of Jesus and the novel The Angle Quickest for Flight. His work has been translated in over 30 languages and his articles have appeared in over 80 publications, including The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly, Wired, GQ, Outside, Popular Science, Discover and the Wall Street Journal.

He also writes "Far Frontiers," a blog about technology and innovation for Forbes.com. Kotler is the co-founder and director of research for the Flow Genome Project and cofounder of the Rancho de Chihuahua dog sanctuary in Northern New Mexico.
