UNM’s Human Resources Department hosts “Financial Planning 101” as part of its financial wellness workshop series.
In the Financial Planning 101 workshop, attendees will learn how to assess where they are currently with financial needs and goals and how to plan for the future. Attendees also have an opportunity to create an action plan to manage competing priorities now to have a lifestyle that they envision down the road.
The main campus workshop is Thursday, Feb. 14 in the Business Center 1016. The north campus workshop is set for Friday, Feb. 15 in the HSLIC Library room 428. Both workshops will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. The workshops, in partnership with Valic, are open to all UNM faculty, staff and retirees.
Lunch will be provided to those who attend (in person). If unable to attend in person, virtual options are available through Skype or Webinar.
