UNM Staff Council is hosting a special virtual keynote and panel discussion Friday, Feb. 19 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

This discussion is called “Honoring and Celebrating Black History Month: The Power of Representation and Addressing Inequities” and all are welcome to attend.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Tracie C. Collins, the secretary-designate of the New Mexico Department of Health. The panel will consist of Dr. Assata Zerai, vice president for Equity & Inclusion; Dr. Charles Becknell, director of Africana Studies; and Brandi Stone, director of African American Student Services.

“Honoring and Celebrating Black History Month: The Power of Representation and Addressing Inequities” is presented by UNM Staff Council and sponsored by UNM Division for Equity and Inclusion.
