The University of New Mexico's College of Nursing hosts a Qualitative Cafe Brown bag Thursday, April 12, from noon-1 p.m., room 252 in the College of Nursing. Speaker Nancy M. Mithlo, professor in the Department of Art History and American Indian Studies Program, UW-Madison, presents findings from the Horace Poolaw Photography Project, a decade-long field initiative and a planned exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. She addresses both micro-level approaches to understanding visual evidence and the larger sociological attitudes attending to the process of curatorial collaboration.
