“La Po Goes Global,” UNM Food’s annual event celebrating cuisine around the world, will be held on Thursday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at La Posada Plaza.
Join UNM Food as they whisk you away to the heart of Beijing, China, with a variety of dishes highlighting the fare of China, including fried rice, Chinese Five-Spice Chicken, stir fry broccoli, hot and sour soup, and more. This year's menu was inspired by the votes of those with a La Posada meal plan.
The event is presented by UNM Food at La Posada, and was inspired by the success of La Po Goes Local, an annual Fall semester event highlighting New Mexican culture, cuisine and farms
UNM Food promises an unforgettable event filled with live DJ music, lively student organizations, engaging activities with the UNM Global Education Office, and other fabulous entertainment.
To join the fun, attendees simply need to swipe or purchase entry into the dining hall to receive a wristband granting access to all the outdoor festivities and vendors.
