Join experts in the field of land grant and acequia law for an upcoming Continuing Legal Education Workshop, "Land Grants, Acequias and the Law." The two-day event will begin Friday, Oct. 15 at the Cañón de Carnué Land Grant Hall.

The workshop is geared towards judges, attorneys and students and is open to all individuals. Event organizers, Utton Transboundary Resource Center and the Land Grants Studies Department are offering discounted pricing for two-day attendance. The Utton Center researches and provides information to the public about water, natural resources and environmental issues, with a particular focus on New Mexico and the Southwest. It supports collaborative natural resource management using multidisciplinary expertise and inclusive, diverse stakeholder involvement.

This two-day program has been approved by MCLE for 7.5 General and 2.0 Ethics/Professionalism credits.

Organizers are requiring participant proof of vaccination upon registration for both days. On the day(s) of the workshop, please bring your vaccination card, online record, or proof of exempt status. Face coverings are also required and will be provided. Space is limited to 75 attendees.
