Join the Anderson School of Management and Dr. Jacqueline Hood for a discussion on workplace bullying. Workplace bullying is defined as repeated, malicious, and health-endangering mistreatment of an employee by one or more other employees.

The event takes place on Monday, Nov. 14, 12:30. to 1:30 p.m. in GSM Room 302 and is sponsored by UNM’s Student Center for the Public Trust.

Workplace bullying has been associated with negative outcomes for the individual being bullied and for the organization in which such actions take place.

This talk will discuss the nature, frequency, and costs of workplace bullying in the context of an organization’s culture, ethical culture, and organizational moral development. Ways that organizations can and should deal with this increasingly common behavior will be proposed.

RSVP to Cstaz@unm.edu to be included in the lunch count.
