New Mexico in Focus continues its look at the year's top 10 stories, some that started in New Mexico, others that were national trends that popped up locally. In addition, host Gene Grant sits down with UNM professors Miguel Gandert and Chris Wilson to talk about their latest book, which focuses on the New Mexican tradition of plaza building.

KNME's one hour public affairs show New Mexico in Focus airs Fridays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 6:30 a.m. on Channel 5.1. The show can also be seen on KNME's Digital Channel 9.1 on Saturdays at 5 p.m.
