Since 1929, The University of New Mexico has provided medical and counseling services to students in need. The Student Health & Counseling, or SHAC, still delivers these services with extraordinary quality and value.
During Welcome Back Days on campus, SHAC wants to educate Lobos on all of its offerings with an Open House on Friday, Aug. 23 from 8–10 a.m.
Along with the chance to meet SHAC’s staff face-to-face, the campus community will also have the opportunity to tour the facility and gain a better understanding of where to find the particular services you might be looking for.
Services include:
- Acupuncture
- Allergy and Immunization
- Lab and X-Ray
- LBGQ Health
- Massage
- Men's Health
- Mental Health
- Nutrition
- Pharmacy
- Physical Therapy
- Trans Health
- Travel Health
- Women's Health
If you have questions about services offered at UNM Student Health & Counseling (SHAC), join SHAC during its open house to learn more, and for free food, games, prizes and tours.
SHAC is located on UNM’s main campus (building #73 on the campus map), just east of the Student Union Building.
