The UNM Staff Council and Employee Wellness are teaming up to host a Staff Appreciation Bingo that features a series of events to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week.
UNM Staff is encouraged to participate in all events during the week to be entered into the Staff Appreciation Bingo. All completed entries will be entered into a drawing for exciting prizes to share with co-workers.
Monday, May 13, will feature a special visit to the Maxwell Museum where staff can enjoy special Discovery Cart presentations at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
Tuesday, May 14, night will feature a movie night where UNM Staff and their families will be able to watch a free showing of Mary Poppins Returns. Movie starts at 6:30 p.m. in the UNM SUB Theater. There will be a free popcorn and drink combo for the first 30 people.
Wednesday, May 15, will feature its annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UNM SUB Ballrooms. The Appreciation Lunch is a staff only event. Lunch for this years’ event will feature a taco bar. UNM Staff Council and Employee Wellness is asking all stuff to bring their UNM ID to help serve lunch at a faster pace.
On Thursday, May 16, Staff will be able to blow off steam at the UNM Staff Happy Hour at the High and Dry Brewing. From 5 to 7 p.m., UNM staff will be able to show their Lobo ID for $1 off pints and glasses of wine.
On Friday, May 17, Staff will be able to participate in the Staff Group Photo. At this event they will be able to enjoy a free paleta, pet a therapy dog and be featured in the annual staff group photo. UNM Staff Council and Employee Wellness is asking staff to arrive at 12 p.m. in the Courtyard Southwest of Zimmerman Library. The photo will be taken at 12:15 p.m. All staff are asked to wear Lobo gear.
