The University of New Mexico’s STC 2018 Fall Seminar Series hosts “Pathways to Success – Small Business Ownership” on Oct. 9 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Lobo Rainforest in the seminar room.

During the seminar, featured guest Harsh Hariyani will discuss assistance and resources available through the Albuquerque Small Business Development Center. Attendees will gain the understanding of the nature of capital and the benefits of preparing a business plan.

Hariyani is the business advisor for CNM’s Small Business Development Center. He is now in his sixth year working for New Mexico Small Business Development Center. Hariyani joined Sandoval County Small Business Development Center as an administrative assistant in July 2013 and climbed his way up joining Albuquerque Small Business Development Center as Business Advisor in May 2017. In 2015, he received the NMSBDC State Star Award in San Francisco.

He holds a degree in the field of Business Commerce and Project Management from India and is currently working towards an MBA degree from New Mexico Highlands University.

The event is free to attend, and lunch will be provided. The Lobo Rainforest is located at 101 Broadway Blvd., NE.
