The University of New Mexico’s Office of the University Secretary seeks volunteers for the Spring 2018 Commencement and Presidential Installation on Saturday, May 12 at 9 a.m. in Dreamstyle Arena.

In addition to recognizing graduates from all degree programs, UNM will install its 23rd president, Garnett S. Stokes, during the commencement exercises.

Volunteers are needed in a number of areas with a variety of duties. Areas of need include:  Rudy Davalos Basketball Center lobby, Pete McDavid Lounge, southeast entrance, main concourse, undergraduate sign-in, reserved seating, club level and stage assistance.

Assignment hours for Commencement ceremony will vary from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. depending on the area and hours of need. See volunteer duties for times. The deadline to signup to volunteer is May 6 at 11 p.m.
