Rivalry Week is underway but, like most things in 2020, is looking a little different this year.

Instead of the historic Red Rally and annual Burning of the Aggie, UNM Students are encouraged to face off against NMSU in a friendly food drive competition.

The UNM Canned Food Drive is happening Oct. 12 – 16.

Donations can be dropped off at the Student Activities Center in the Student Union Building (SUB). All donations will stay on campus and go to the Lobo Food Pantry to help students with food insecurity.

Everyone is welcome to drop off food items from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For a list of what to donate, click here.

The Lobo Pantry will be open to students Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., or until supplies last.

Rivalry week will also include Esports tournaments between the two schools. A Rocket League tournament will be held Oct. 13 and an Overwatch tournament will be held Oct. 14. Both will be at 7 p.m. and can be viewed on the UNM Esports Twitch channel.

A Family Feud style game will happen on Oct. 15 with football players from both schools will compete head to head. The game will be streamed live on Youtube and will be available through Zoom:
