The University of New Mexico College of Fine Arts' Department of Music presents the music of National Medal of Arts winner Morten Lauridsen on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Popejoy Hall on the University of New Mexico campus.

UNM Director of Choral Music Bradley Ellingboe conducts the University Chorus, Concert Choir and debuts the UNM Chamber Singers in a performance of Lauridsen's music. Also featured is Las Cantantes, directed by Maxine Thevenot, and a high school festival chorus, under the direction of Regina Carlow.

Lauridsen, the most performed living composer in America, will e in attendance for the concert to help celebrate the debut of the newly launched UNM Chamber Singers and a suite of 16 endowed choral scholarships.

Tickets are $15, $10 and $5 and available at all UNM ticket outlets.
