The University of New Mexico hosts a webinar titled, Justice on Trial, The Verdict and Its Aftermath: A Space for Reflection, on Thursday, April 22 at 5 p.m.

This virtual event offers members of the campus community a place to share their concerns and experiences, and safely and openly express themselves following the verdict in the George Floyd murder trial.

“As these conversations continue and we seek to better understand and support each other as a University community, please be mindful that this has been emotionally taxing for many of us; I encourage you to offer one another compassion and understanding without judgment,” said Assata Zerai, vice president for the Division of Equity and Inclusion.

To register for the event, visit Justice on Trial or https://goto.unm.edu/4n8yf.

This event is sponsored by UNM Division for Equity and Inclusion and UNM’s Health Sciences Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
