The Maxwell Museum of Anthropology at The University of New Mexico is hosting a Family Day Event focused on Exploring Human Evolution. The event is part of Maxwell’s mission of working toward a greater understanding of the fullness of human experiences in the Southwest and the world.
Participants are invited to the Maxwell on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Everyone is invited to come and explore the fascinating story of human evolution at a Maxwell by learning to Identify skulls and bones, exploring questions about early human history, meeting with and talking to experts, examining cave art and making your own art projects, and learning what fossils can tell us about our past.
