Since 1987, the month of March has been annually observed to celebrate Women’s History Month, a time to reflect on the women’s contributions to history, culture and society.

UNM’s Women’s Resource Center is collaborating with other groups on campus to host a handful of virtual events throughout the month.

“As we take this month to honor and reflect an on the women who throughout history have made significant contributions to move our society forward, we're excited to collaborate with HSC, LGBTQRC, AISS, AASS and El Centro," said Reina Davis, WRC professional intern.

“The LGBTQ Resource Center is committed to honoring the work done by the Women's Resource Center and stands in solidarity with them. As the Center is celebrating ten years, it is crucial to highlight the ways that the WRC has helped us thrive. Caitlin Henke, specifically, has been vital to the success of the Center,” said Frankie Flores, LGBTQ Resource Center director.
