UNM Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) would like to remind current staff and faculty with an active parking permit paid for through automatic payroll deduction that the automatic renewal for Academic Year 2021-2022 parking permits will be processed beginning Saturday, July 24.
If individuals DO NOT want their current UNM parking permit to renew, please complete and submit the Do Not Renew Permit Request form by 6 p.m. on July 20.
Parking permits automatically renewed will be mailed starting Monday, Aug. 2. Please expect the permit to arrive within three to seven business days after the permit renewal has processed. If individuals do not receive their parking permit by Monday, Aug. 9 please contact PATS’ business office.
UNM employees and other customers who pay for UNM parking permits with a credit card, will need to visit the PATS Business Office to renew permits in-person, beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 3. The deadline to renew your permit is Sept. 3.
Current parking permits are valid until Sunday, Aug. 22. Effective Monday, Aug. 23 (the start of the fall semester), new AY21-22 parking permit will need to be displayed in your vehicle.
Announcement: Fall-only student parking permits to be offered in addition to annual parking permits
PATS is excited to announce that starting this fall students will have the option to purchase either a fall-only parking permit or a regular annual parking permit. The new fall-only permits will be available to purchase for most of the student parking zones.
To purchase a Fall-Only permit, log in to your Parking Account on pats.unm.edu, click on “Manage My Account” and select the "fall" version of your parking permit.
