Health Care
The UNM Health Sciences Center is the only Trauma 1 Hospital in the state of New Mexico. There are over 40 degree and residency programs to choose from.

Arts and Culture
UNM Popejoy Presents is the leading arts and cultural center in New Mexico. Seating up to 1985 patrons, Popejoy Hall is the largest such venue in the state. Popejoy hosts Broadway shows, symphony concerts, musical soloists, artists of international caliber world-renowned ballet and modern dance companies, and noted speakers from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

For over 95 years, UNM Continuing Education has served hundreds of thousands of people in our community by offering valuable learning opportunities and certification programs that invest in our local workforce and economy while also providing a means for lifelong education and personal improvement.

Community Engagement
The Community Engagement Center was formed in 2000 by faculty, staff, students, and community members interested in better mobilizing the University’s resources and talents towards increasing civic engagement. Much of these interactions are conducted between communities, neighborhoods, large public institutions (schools, public agencies), and governmental systems (local, tribal, state, and federal).
