UNM Facilities Management (FM) will be conducting technical server maintenance to update UNM’s building access control software, Ccure, Wednesday-Friday, Feb. 22-24, which may cause brief interruptions to building access during the process. Here’s what you need to know:

Wednesday-Thursday, Feb. 22-23

LoboCard Offices (all campuses) - Temporary Closure

  • All UNM LoboCard office locations (main campus and branch campus locations) will be closed and unable to issue IDs on Wednesday, Feb. 22 while the update is being completed. However, the campus community should also be prepared for a partial day outage and closure on the morning of Thursday, Feb. 23.

Thursday-Friday, Feb. 23-24

Building Access – Brief, Intermittent Outages

  • On Feb. 23–24, while the update is being completed, building card swipe access in secured buildings may be interrupted for a period of 3-5 minutes.
  • Some locations, such as Centennial Library, Fine Arts & Design Library, Zimmerman Library, and Johnson Center have manual overrides at facility entrances and will have the ability to open the gates if swipe card readers experience outages.
  • If your UNM ID card does not unlock building doors as usual on Feb. 23–24, please wait a few minutes and try again. If you are still unable to access the building during these dates, contact the IT migration team at 505-277-5000 to report the outage.

UNM Residence Halls

  • Student residents living in on-campus housing may experience brief access interruptions during the update. Staff will be available at each building to ensure students can access their housing halls.
