Lobo Advisory – 12.12.2022, 4:35 a.m.: At approximately 2:11 p.m., the University of New Mexico Police Department (UNMPD) received a report of an unknown subject approaching a female student from behind on a bicycle and slapping her on the buttocks between Ortega Hall and Humanities. The victim described the suspect as male-presenting wearing a black, puffy, zip-up style jacket with a hood over his head and light blue jeans riding a silver and black bicycle. The victim reported no other type of assault taking place before the suspect fled. The University takes these incidents of fondling seriously. In an effort to continue to keep the campus community safe, UNMPD is increasing patrols in targeted areas while working diligently to investigate the matter.
