Who: The University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management

What: The Anderson School of Management celebrates the placing of the final beam in the new McKinnon Center for Management (MCM). Ian McKinnon, and his wife, Sonnet, long-time supporters of UNM and the lead donors of the MCM, will be the first to sign the beam in recognition of their $7.5 million gift that made the building possible. The 18-month project is on schedule and expected to open in May 2018 giving students access to a 61,000 square foot state of the art building with larger classrooms, advanced IT services, career planning and placement center, advisement space, behavioral research lab, and marketing center. Be a part of the Anderson history to mark a milestone in the construction of the McKinnon Center for Management.

When: Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.  Attendees can start signing the beam at 9:30 a.m.; a short program follows beginning at 10 a.m.

Where: The University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management’s McKinnon Center for Management, the site of the old Anderson School building located 1924 Las Lomas NE, Albuquerque, N.M.  87106. Hourly parking is available via credit/debit card at the structure located at Lomas and Yale on the north side of the UNM campus.
