Over the weekend of Nov. 13-14, a contractor for Facilities Management will be conducting a road and crosswalk striping project on Las Lomas Road and Campus Boulevard between Yale Boulevard and Girard Boulevard. Here’s what you need to know:

Project Details
- The Yale Boulevard and Las Lomas Road intersection will receive new crosswalk striping at all four crossing points.
- All crosswalks and lane lines from Yale Boulevard east to Vassar Drive will be restriped.

Project Timeline
Contractor crews are expected to start before light on the morning of Nov. 13 and finish before the open of business on Nov. 15.

The project is temperature-dependent and there may be delays if weather conditions change unexpectedly.

Vehicle and Pedestrian Impacts
The work will progress to the east from Yale Boulevard toward Girard Boulevard. During the painting and drying periods, vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be diverted around the work areas.

Lane closures will be intermittent throughout the project, so please use caution when traveling in the area and adhere to all directional signage, barricades and flag crews.

AccuStripe, Inc. is the contractor for the project. The project lead for Facilities Management is Rich Schorr. He can be reached for project questions at rschorr@unm.edu or 505.277.0615.
