At a recent UNM Board of Regents meeting, Student Regent Melissa Henry and two colleagues asked the University community to join them in recognizing Denim Day on Wednesday, April 24.
Organized by Peace Over Violence, Denim Day brings together millions of people across the world who will wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors and educate themselves and others about all forms of sexual violence.
As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Lobo community is encouraged to show support for survivors, and work together to eliminate rape and sexual assault on university campuses.
