Students, parents, friends, faculty and staff are invited to submit messages honoring the Class of 2020 as part of the Fall 2020 Lobo Grad Stream.

From personalized graduation pages to videos from supporters around the world, the Fall 2020 Lobo Grad Stream offers opportunities to recognize every fall 2020 graduate from The University of New Mexico.

Although it’s not quite the celebration, pomp and circumstance of the traditional commencement, the virtual ceremony is UNM’s way to maintain COVID-19 precautions while still recognizing the incredible accomplishments of students. It will be broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube on Friday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.

“Commencement is a life experience – a genuine rite of passage,” said UNM President Garnett S. Stokes in a video message to Lobos. “Please know that all members of the Class of 2020 – Spring, Summer and Fall graduates – will be invited to participate in an in-person commencement, but only know when we can safely host such a large event.”

Here are the ways the be involved in the Fall 2020 Lobo Stream:
