UNM's Comadre a Comadre, a program within the College of Education, hosts the “UNM Comadre Zumba Blast,” on Saturday, Oct. 10 in the South Gym in Johnson Center. The event will include three Zumba classes, door prizes and a silent auction as a fundraiser for the group as well as to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Comadre a Comadre works to raise awareness about breast health and breast cancer by taking an innovative approach through the use of ethnically and racially diverse breast cancer survivors’ personal stories.

Those who would like to attend may register by calling 277-2350. There will be a $15 donation per person to benefiting Comadre a Comadre. Free parking in “A” Lot off of Central and Stanford.
