UNM Physical Plant Department (PPD) will be performing emergency repairs on a broken water pipe in the driveway entrance to the Cornell Parking Structure. This emergency repair work has changed how vehicles can access the structure.

Repair work is scheduled to start Sunday, Feb. 5 and run through Thursday, Feb. 9, weather depending, and will require the short road leading to the Cornell structure to be blocked off. Access to and from Cornell will be made available through the creation of a temporary entrance located immediately south of the current structure entrance. Signs indicating a temporary access point will be posted.

Due to the emergency repair work and the location of the temporary access point, there will be no parking, standing or stopping allowed along Redondo Dr. between the Cornell Mall crosswalk—by the UNM Bookstore and Stanford Blvd. The two handicapped parking spaces located at the entrance to the Cornell structure will be closed; handicapped parking spaces within the structure will remain open.

The Visitor's Booth located east of Cornell will remain fully staffed to answer questions about structure parking.
