Come relieve midterm stress by cuddling furry four-legged friends.

The University of New Mexico’s Cuddle a Canine is being held Monday, Oct. 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lawn on the west side outside of Zimmerman Library.

Local volunteers with the Albuquerque-based Southwest Canine Corps of Volunteers will be on campus with their companions giving students some welcome stress relief as the semester winds down.

The Southwest Canine Corps of Volunteers dogs typically visit hospitals, rehab centers, libraries, the 911 call center, nursing and long-term care facilities bringing scientifically proven stress relief that only a dog can provide.
