Information Technologies (IT), the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), and the Office of Research and Economic Development will jointly host Cyberinfrasructure Day April 29, at the Student Union Building (SUB), giving student researchers, faculty and staff an opportunity to learn about the significance of Data Stewardship and its impact on Cyberinfrastructure at the University of New Mexico.

As part of the day, the National Science Foundation's Joan Peckham will give a keynote speech titled, "Building the National Cyberinfrastructure and the Thinking Skills to Go With." Other topics and presentations ranging from data storage to data research methods to data management.

Student researchers are encouraged to submit posters for the Poster Session, which will be held during the event. Poster submissions should be no larger than 48" x 36" for possible showcasing during the event.
