UNM's Information Technologies Sustainability Steering Committee will host a free, hour-long webinar titled "Procurement of Green Computer Equipment – EPEAT," Wednesday, March 21 at 1 p.m., in room 2001 located in the IT main campus building (building 153).

The webinar is offered by the non-profit State Electronics Challenge organization and will provide an orientation to the EPEAT system for procurement of "green" computers.

The webinar includes:

· What environmental performance issues EPEAT covers.
· What are the environmental benefits of purchasing EPEAT-registered products.
· How to identify whether the products your organization purchases qualify for EPEAT.
