Can students give the University of New Mexico good ideas about how to generate revenue? They can and they might win a cash prize at the Innovate New Mexico pitch competition on Monday, April 25.
There are two tracks for pitches. One is for Higher Education Innovation. The other is for business ideas students want to pursue personally.
Students who want to participate can register here. Registration deadline is April 18. Students need to record a 90 second video outlining the idea and submit it to the judges. The judges will review the video submissions and the finalists will move to the final live round at the Bow and Arrow Brewery at 5:30 p.m. on April 25. The audience will determine the winners.
STC.UNM, Bow & Arrow Brewing Company, the Society for Marketing Professional Services New Mexico and the law firm of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo are sponsors for the event.
