Information Technologies (IT) requests faculty and instructors to submit any class-related software by Friday, Nov. 18. The deadline and lead time are critical in order to compile, coordinate, test and install software. Faculty software requests can be made by clicking, software. A list of current software offerings can also be found there.

IT also needs to know of any CD software that may accompany textbooks, to ensure maintenance and security protocols are in place in conjunction with classroom or pod computers. Please provide IT with a copy of software accompanying textbook CD software, as well as a licensing statement for the number of copies needed.

Additionally, faculty and instructors, who request and will use the software, are asked to be available to IT to ensure software is installed to their specification, so IT can ensure the software performs as expected and needed.

Starting in the spring 2012 semester, the PC operating system will be Windows 7, and the Mac OS will be 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
