The board of Lobo Development Corporation elected corporate officers at its Sept. 27 meeting. President of Lobo Development is David W. Harris, executive vice president for Administration, COO, CFO; UNM. Vice President is Paul Krebs, vice president, UNM Athletics. Secretary/Treasurer is Chris Vallejos, vice president, Institutional Support Services, UNM. Amy Coburn is the director of Design and Development, Tom Neale is the director of Financial Transactions for Lobo Development and the associate director of the UNM Real Estate Dept.
During the Sept. meeting the board approved a motion to engage Forest City Real Estate Services to continue with a feasibility analysis of a hotel on UNM property near Lomas NE. The board also approved a motion to recommend to the Board of Regents Finance & Facilities Committee to advance a motion to decommit the $10 million of real estate proceeds that is currently managed by the UNM Foundation. The money was previously approved by the UNM Board of Regents for the South Campus commercial development project on Dec. 11, 2012.
