The Biology Undergraduate Society of UNM (BUGS) is hosting Wolf Fest 2017, which will include introducing the campus community to a real, live Lobo. The event will be on Smith Plaza from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 7.

Wolf Fest is a student organized event that raises awareness about wildlife conservation in New Mexico. Several organizations will be represented, including Defenders of Wildlife, Lobos of the Southwest, Project Coyote and Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary.

There will be informational tables and experts talking about different aspects of wildlife conservation. Participants can also attend lectures, as well as several screenings of films related to conservation of the Lobo.
