This week on New Mexico in Focus, Gene Grant sits down with Sanjeev Arora, director of Project ECHO at the University of New Mexico, to talk about how his team delivers expertise to patients wherever they are. The project makes use of new technology that delivers effective disease management and healthcare around the state.

New Mexico in Focus airs Friday night at 7 p.m. on Channel 5.1 and appears online at NMiF shortly thereafter. The show rebroadcasts Saturday at 5 p.m. on Channel 9.1 and again on Sunday at 7 a.m. on Channel 5.1.

Also this week, the Line opinion panel discusses the results of the special election held in Albuquerque where voters rejected a proposed ban on late term abortions, education issues across the state and how they will play out in next year’s legislative session and gubernatorial race and ongoing problems with the Affordable Care Act rollout.
