This week on New Mexico in Focus, correspondent Gwyneth Doland sits down with Congresswoman Michelle Lujan-Grisham, U.S. House representative for New Mexico’s 1st district about a variety of issues, including the upcoming foreclosure prevention workshop on Nov. 2, how women on Capitol Hill are leading efforts in bipartisanship, ways to address income inequality, how Congress hopes to gain back America’s confidence and the disappointing rollout of the Affordable Care Act.

New Mexico in Focus airs Friday night at 7 p.m. on Channel 5.1 and appears online at NMiF shortly thereafter. The show rebroadcasts Saturday at 5 p.m. on Channel 9.1 and again on Sunday at 7 a.m. on Channel 5.1.

Also this week, the Line panel discusses the clash between Albuquerque Public Schools and the PED over standardized testing and teacher evaluations, a scuffle at the Foundation for Open Government over proposed award nominees and the oral argument that went before the New Mexico Supreme Court on the issue of same-sex marriage.
